Occupational Therapist, Farmer
I am a Occupational Therapist who developed AAA Therapeutic Solutions in honor of my 3 kids Amani, Amari and Amara. My purpose is to serve clients of all ages and stages to increase physical, emotional and cognitive well-being through holistic approaches. In addition to being a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist I am also a certified stroke rehab specialist, tai chi instructor and myofascial release clinician. My journey as a health care provider began in 2009 while serving in the United States Army National Guard as a medic. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2014 from Florida A&M University and after my enlistment concluded in 2016 my new journey as a occupational therapist, mother and wife started
Since then our services have expanded to the creation of AAA Therapeutic Farm in order to provide services outdoors on our urban farm in West Charlotte. Now, in addition to occupational therapy-based services we are able to provide classes such as yoga, adaptive yoga, therapeutic art, tai chi, peer groups, gardening, community events, post stroke services and animal-assisted interventions.
